Beihai Asia International Arbitration Centre (BAIAC), Singapore
Beihai Asia International Arbitration Centre (BAIAC) Singapore is an arbitration centre dedicated to providing efficient, cost-effective, and culturally attuned dispute resolution services. With a strong focus on international and China-ASEAN Plus Six focused disputes, BAIAC simplifies complex legal processes, ensuring fair and practical outcomes. Guided by our slogan, "Making Dispute Resolution Make Sense," we bridge legal traditions and commercial needs, delivering solutions that are accessible, transparent, and business-friendly.
The centre leverages Singapore arbitration and ADR hallmarks for ASEAN and globally. The arbitration rules provide for Singapore seated arbitration ("lex arbitri") or in any other jurisdictions that the parties prefer based on "party autonomy", the foundation of international arbitration. As an ASEAN-China arbitration-focused arbitration centre, it considers cost-sensitivity with arbitration, particularly for small and medium enterprises. BAIAC also promotes settlement via mediation through its "Med-Arb" (mediation-arbitration) route.
