
Asst. Prof. Dr. Tidarat Sinlapapiromsuk
Professor Dr. Tidarat Sinlapapiromsuk is a full-time professor of law at Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Law, where she formerly served as the Vice Dean for International Affairs (2017-2021). Tidarat teaches and provides legal advice on several areas of law, including International Business Transactions; Foreign Direct Investment; Alternative Dispute Resolutions; International Commercial and Investment Arbitration; Investor-State Dispute Settlement; Energy and Mining Laws; Infrastructure Projects; Transnational Anti-Bribery Laws (Thai, UK, and US FCPA including corporate compliance program); Mass Torts and Class Action. Her research projects focus, among others, on Petroleum Joint Development Agreements; International Arbitration, Public Procurement (funded by the Ministry of Finance); International Sales Law, and Oil-Spill Settlements. Tidarat was also officially appointed by the Office of the Council of State as a legislation review committee for the draft national legislation implementing the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Tidarat was also appointed as an Arbitrator Committee by virtue of the Act of Arbitration Center B.E. 2550 and as a member of the THACA’s Academic Council in 2022. In 2023, she was also appointed as the Director of the Centre for Dispute Resolution, Chulalongkorn University. Tidarat was also a contributing author for the Transnational Dispute Management (TDM) Journal and has professional experience as an arbitrator for cases concerning international business and government construction contract disputes
